Media Collaboration Between Faculty
Media collaboration allows you to collaborate with others within the HCC system permitting Co-Editing, Co-Publishing, and/or Co-Viewing media capabilities. To start, you will select My Media from within one of your courses. Choose the media you would like to collaborate. Select the edit icon. Next, select the Collaboration tab. Here is where you will Add a Collaborator. Select Add Collaborator. You can add a user or group by simply typing in the name of the collaborator or the group name. Notice there is a drop-down box with potential users that you can also choose from. Now select the permissions you would like to grant to the collaborator. You can select Co-Editor, Co- Publisher, Co-Viewer, or you can select them all. Click on “Add”. Under Media Collaborators, you will see your collaborators under the Member section, their User ID, and permissions. You can edit the collaborators’ permissions by selecting the edit icon to the right, change the permissions, and then select to update. The change will reflect under the permissions section. You can also delete the collaborator on this screen by selecting the delete icon. This concludes Media Collaboration.
