Artist James Ciosek learned to weld at a young age, and his work has gone from utilitarian to aesthetic--in part, because of his fascination with chaos theory. He talks about the inspiration and process (which involves singeing iridescent film with fireworks) behind his colorful, abstract, illuminated sculpture, as well as viewers' reactions to it.
