Isaac Hilton is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Bioengineering at Rice University. He joined the faculty of Rice University in 2018 after earning a start-up recruitment award from CPRIT. The goals of his lab are to program therapeutic functions in human cells and to illuminate fundamental human gene regulatory mechanisms. To accomplish these goals, the Hilton lab develops novel technologies to precisely engineer the human epigenome and tailor human gene expression and integrates these technologies with existing genome editing tools, functional human genomics, and innovative synthetic circuits.
