NEXTGen: AI + Metaverse Summer Camp 25

We just wrapped up the NEXTGen: AI + Metaverse Summer Camp at Houston Community College – and it was a huge success!

Over the past five days, 28 brilliant middle and high school students delved deeply into the technologies shaping their future, from Artificial Intelligence and Extended Reality to 3D Design, Unity Coding, and AI design workflows.

They didn’t just learn about the future – they created it. 

From building their own immersive environments to experimenting with generative AI tools and learning how to bring their visions to life using VR, our campers showed curiosity, creativity, and serious skill.

A huge shoutout to the mentors, interns, and collaborators who made this week an unforgettable learning experience.

These students are the future creators, innovators, and changemakers – and the future looks bright.
